She has a proven track record of providing effective consultation that has resulted in better business performance and client success for healthcare organizations nationwide.
Ryan McCormick
Managing Partner, CodingAID
Ryan entered the healthcare coding support world in 2004. Before his tenure at Managed Resources, he was a Business Manager and Sr. Analyst for Sony Pictures and MTV Networks. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration, and an MBA and MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. At Managed Resources, he ensures clients are provided with high quality and integrity-driven talent and oversees coding solution delivery and success.
Lynn Handy
VP of Education and Consulting
Lynn Handy brings more than 30 years of health care experience in medical office management, insurance billing and coding, and professional nursing. She is an accomplished medical practice consultant and an experienced educator in the areas of insurance billing and coding, physician coding and documentation training, computerized insurance billing and Medicare compliance.
Lynn is a certified coding instructor through the AAPC and was a board member for a major project in San Diego to develop and implement a comprehensive hospital coding program. She has also been ICD-10 trained by AHIMA. Lynn speaks at various National Coding, Compliance and Auditing Associations as well as supporting local coding chapter meetings as a frequent speaker.
Traci Tucker
Director of Audits & Appeals
Traci is a Registered Nurse with degrees in Science in Nursing and Business in Operations Management. She brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience in clinical nursing, Case Management, Utilization Review, Hospital Billing Auditing, Charge Capture Management, and Revenue Cycle Management.
Traci has experience in pre and post EPIC implementation audits, charge audits, and compliance audits. She is a member of HFMA and holds several certifications. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Janae Ballard
Director of Professional Coding and Audit
Janae Ballard has over 20 years of healthcare experience in professional coding and auditing, consulting, billing, compliance, revenue cycle, provider education and coder training. She is an accomplished speaker, presenting at AAPC and AHIMA national conferences along with many webinars presented nationally over the years. Her coding/auditing knowledge expands over the majority of specialties, but her expertise is in Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, OB/GYN, Behavioral Health, Hospitalists/Critical Care and Nephrology.
Janae is certified through AAPC and holds multiple credentials for both coding and auditing. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. When she’s not working, Janae enjoys teaching Pilates, traveling and spending time with her family.
Kerri Larson
Director of Coding and Audit Services
Kerri Larson brings over 19 years of health career experience in coding and auditing, office management, quality assurance, training and operations.
She specializes in coding and compliance with responsibility for audits, oversight and training for providers, staff and reimbursement consulting. Kerri has worked with a wide variety of clients during her tenure.
Kerri has extensive experience in evaluation and management as well as surgical procedures for both outpatient and inpatient professional services. Kerri is certified through AAPC for professional coding. Her experience also includes developing teams, implementing policies and procedures, and implementing quality assurance programs.
Mike Taylor
VP of Sales & Marketing
Mike is an accomplished business leader possessing multifaceted experience and success building organizations, developing strategic initiatives, and capturing emerging business opportunities. Mike is adept at forging lucrative relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders, spending over a dozen years in various sales and marketing leadership roles with the healthcare revenue cycle and HIM space. During his free time, Mike stays active with trips to the gym, golf course, and pickleball court. He is also enjoys spending time with his family.
Jozette Cook-White
Director of Clinical Appeals
Jozette Cook brings more than 26 years of healthcare experience and expertise in clinical and operational leadership, strategy development and implementation, and budget management. Known as a charismatic motivator of teams with demonstrated ability to build and sustain collaborative partnerships throughout the organization to meet strategic goals.
Recognized as an astute problem solver with strong communication skills at all levels. Results-focused leader successful in building robust teams, workflow processes and driving high quality results to meet the customer's needs. Jozette is a Registered Nurse, Certified Case Manager and Certified Professional Coder.
